Importing Scalar Values from CSV Files to Multi-ROIs
If required, you can import scalar values contained in a selected comma-separated values file (*.csv extension) into a multi-ROI. Scalar values can be imported from either an ORS-formatted CSV file, in which case all slots will be imported, or you can import scalar slots one-by-one from generic CSV files that contain the required label indexes and corresponding values.
- Right-click the required multi-ROI in the Data Properties and Settings panel and then choose Import Scalar Values from a CSV File in the pop-up menu.
The Scalar Values Slots Importer dialog appears.
- Check the Import scalar values slots from an ORS CSV file format option, if the CSV file was exported from Dragonfly.

Note In this case, all scalar value slots will be imported.
- Click Continue.
- Choose the required CSV file in the Import Data from File dialog.
- Click Open to import the scalar values slots from the selected CSV file.
- Save your changes, if required (see Exporting Images and Objects).
- Right-click the required multi-ROI in the Data Properties and Settings panel and then choose Import Scalar Values from a CSV File in the pop-up menu.
The Scalar Values Slots Importer dialog appears.
- Uncheck the Import scalar values slots from an ORS CSV file format option.
The Imported slot information box appears in the dialog, as shown below.

- Enter the required Imported slot information, which includes the Slot title, Slot dimension type and Slot unit that corresponds to the scalar values that will be imported, and Time step.
- Click Continue and then choose the required CSV file in the Import Data from File dialog.
Note The delimiter — Comma, Semicolon, or Tab — of your CSV file must be the same as the delimiter selected as the CSV export delimiter preference (see Miscellaneous Preferences).
- Click Open to import the scalar values slot from the selected CSV file.
- Import additional scalar values slots, as required.
- Save your changes, if required (see Exporting Images and Objects).
